Wow! New Legendary Pokémon. We weren’t expecting that. We’re used to getting a heads up on new Pokémon with the Japanese TV programme Pokémon Sunday revealing silhouettes before unveiling the new monsters.

Wii are so great is not only because they’re packed to the brim with loads of creative new ideas, but because they also mix these innovations with familiar faces. It was hard not to be a little deflated by Modern Warfare Wii. Coming two years after the original and on the same day the rest of the gaming community was snapping up Modern Warfare 2, Wii owners couldn’t be blamed for feeling left behind.

Treyarch, the developers of Call Of Duty: Black Ops, have told ONM that the Wii version of its forthcoming shooter will be as similar as possible to the 360, PS3 and PC versions.
Could this finally be a Sonic game that’s all killer and no filler?.
It was way back in 1994 when arguably the last truly fantastic Sonic game - Sonic & Knuckles - was released on the Mega Drive. Since then, Sega has had no less than 33 attempts at recapturing that magic, with extremely mixed results.
New Art Style game joins Kirby and co…
The final list of Nintendo downloads has been confirmed and the good news is that a new Art Style game has been added to the selection of games we already know about. Art Style Penta Tentacles will be joined on WiiWare by Lead The Meerkats, Hero Of Sparta and Voodoo Dice. Animal Color Cross, Just SING! National Anthems, Flips The Magic Faraway Tree and Bloons are this week’s DSiWare releases while Kirby’s Fun Pak is out for Virtual Console.

Suda 51 has told ONM that he was inspired by film director Quentin Tarantino when creating No More Heroes.
Pikachu’s Adventure hits Wii in July.
The first Pokémon Wii adventure game will be released for Wii on 9 July. Called PokéPark: Pikachu’s Adventure, it stars perhaps the most famous Pokémon of them all - Pikachu.
Why Kirby deserves more attention.
As you may have seen in our story earlier today, Kirby is making a comeback of sorts tomorrow with his SNES classic Kirby’s Fun Pak coming to Virtual Console.
If you haven’t played it before, it’s essentially six small games in one, and was the inspiration for last year’s Kirby Super Star Ultra on the DS.
